LOI Due Date Extension Announcement

Thank you for the email inquiries and the interest in submitting a Letter of Interest to be a Design Pilot in the Upstream Initiative. We have an FAQ page on our web site and the webinar we offered on Friday, April 28th, had 45 registrants, representing 40 organizations and approximately 10 counties. So good to see so many dedicated individuals and amazing programs coming together from across our state.

Three things have emerged from the emails and the webinar. First, there is a great deal of interest in the First 1000 Days Upstream Initiative. Second, some are uncertain about what exactly the Design Pilots will be doing. Third, communities have asked for more time in order to be able to complete the LOI. 

For these reasons, the selection committee has decided to extend the invitation for Letter of Interest submissions for one month. The new due date is Friday, June 9th at Noon.

This will allow The Collaborative more time to provide potential applicants increased clarity on what the design pilots will be doing, and allow more time for those interested in submitting a Letter of Interest to be able to participate. 

We will continue to respond to inquiries, post questions and responses on our FAQ, and develop another webinar to increase clarity about the Design Pilot activities.
