Gustavo Morales Interview

Gustavo Morales was in medical school when he grew disenchanted. He directly observed how the system worked against the very folks we need to enter the field so we have representation, diversification, and positive health outcomes for all. Set on making systemic change, Morales then worked for several years, without pay, to develop EUVALCREE in his hometown of Ontario. Now, he also serves on the Oregon Health and Education Collaborative board because of his unwavering motivation to make systemic change and improve outcomes, not just for ourselves, but for our children.

We had a 40 minute conversation, then edited it to these 7 minutes for you. We hope it serves as a morsel of motivation to keep doing the important work YOU are engaged in today. It matters.

In solidarity,
